Raiden Shogun, also known as Ei, is a prominent character in the game Genshin Impact. She is the Electro Archon and the ruler of Inazuma.

Ei's first appearance in Genshin Impact is during the Inazuma Archon Questline. She presides over Inazuma with an iron fist, enforcing the Vision Hunt Decree and isolating the nation.

The Raiden Shogun is not a single entity, but rather two: Ei, the actual Electro Archon, and the Shogun puppet, a meticulously crafted automaton that carries out Ei's directives. Ei primarily exists in the Plane of Euthymia, a meditative state where she seeks to achieve eternity.
